Currently, her theatrical activities are limited to script reading and acting. In addition to the two plays, she has published books of essays, stories, and biographies. Her plays have been translated into English. Her book of essays 'Tarpan' has been translated into Hindi under the title 'Putri Ka Kathan.' She is currently the president of the West Bengal Bengali Academy. She is editing the collected works of Shambhu Mitra.
