Additionally, he has been honoured with the Gangadhar Meher National Award from Sambalpur University and honorary D.Litt. degrees from Gour Banga University and Vidyasagar University.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2016, he taught at the University of Iowa in the USA as a Fulbright Fellow and participated in an international writers' camp with poets and writers from 33 countries.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe currently resides in Seriti, Kolkata, with his son Roro.
