Her passions are travelling and sleeping. She received a Senior Fellowship from the Ministry of Information and Culture, Government of India, for research on women's writing (2008-2010). She has participated in poetry readings and discussions organized by the Sahitya Academy in cities such as Kolkata, Gangtok, Guwahati, Kokrajhar, Delhi, Ludhiana, and Bhopal. She also took part in the SAARC Literature Festival in Bhubaneswar and Dhaka.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2011, she participated in poetry and storytelling sessions and discussions at various institutions in Canada, including the University of British Columbia, Fraser Valley, Kwantlen Polytechnic, and the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute. She also participated in the Dhaka Literary Meet in 2017. Sebanti Ghosh has received the Krttibas and Anita Sunil Kumar Bengali Academy Awards. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSeveral of her poetry collections have been published, and she has also done translation work.
