A Short Stay In Hell by Steven L. Peck [Paperback]

A Short Stay in Hell follows a man who finds himself trapped in an incomprehensible afterlife created by an unfamiliar God—a vast labyrinthine library containing every possible book and, therefore, the story of every life ever lived. To escape, he must locate the single book containing his own life story. As he navigates this seemingly endless maze, the novel confronts the absurdity of existence, the nature of eternity, faith, meaning and human mortality, offering a haunting and deeply unsettling vision of the afterlife.
