MAFIA PREMIER LEAGUE by K. Vijayakarthikeyan [Paperback]

This is a fast-paced crime thriller set at the intersection of professional cricket and Mumbai’s underworld. The story revolves around the launch of the Mumbai Super League, where the Dongri Dragons are owned by notorious gangster Max Malhotra (MM). His sudden involvement in cricket attracts police attention, particularly from Zia, a fearless and rebellious cop determined to bring him down.

At the same time, Vivank, a former cricket prodigy whose career was destroyed by drug addiction, is brought in as the team’s coach. He sees the league as his final opportunity to redeem himself, revive his career and win back his former love, Leepa. As the lives of the gangster, the police officer and the disgraced cricketer collide, the seemingly glamorous cricket league becomes entangled with organized crime, drugs, violence, ambition and deception.
