Student Union by Julie Murphy [Paperback]

Clover Rowan Walsh has a carefully planned path to escaping her financially difficult upbringing: earn a full scholarship to Wexley University, excel in business, and build a better future for herself and her mother. But when her housing grant unexpectedly falls through, she discovers an unusual loophole—married students can share a dorm room for the cost of one student.

Her only solution is to propose a marriage of convenience to Bennett Andrew Graves, her wealthy childhood friend—and the very person she has avoided since he deeply hurt her years ago. Bennett agrees because he feels he owes Clover, despite the fact that the two can barely speak without arguing.

Forced to share a dorm—and eventually one bed—Clover and Bennett begin pretending to be a married couple. But as their fake relationship starts feeling increasingly natural, old feelings, unresolved hurt, undeniable chemistry, and genuine attraction begin to blur the line between pretend and real. What begins as a practical arrangement may turn into something neither of them expected.

The book is the first installment in The Undergrads trilogy, following a group of college-age women as they navigate romance, friendship, and adulthood.
